When you create or edit a position in HRMS, the data should be sent immediately to the applicant system. However, if you receive an error message in HRMS that a connection could not be made, it can take 2-3 hours before it is added or updated in the Job Orders (inactive) listing. Any position that does not have a status of Pending Purge or Inactive in HRMS will be shown as an inactive Job Order. Once it appears, you can create a Job Order (vacancy) and activate it to post. Any fields that are not editable in NC SchoolJobs must be updated in HRMS.
